"ALL THAT I SEE"
I have never seen the stars out at night
They were there, but I could not see
I have never felt the summer breeze
against my face
The gentle breeze, always around,
but I could not feel
I have never smelled the fragrance
of a flower's blossom
There lies the whole garden before me,
but never the joy of the sweet fragrance
I have never heard the words
of a love song
The music played, but the sound never
reached my soul
I have never tasted the sweetness
of nectar upon my lips
For all that may have been sweet,
became only as bitterness to taste
All that I see, came to life when
I looked into your eyes
There were the stars for the very first time
The gentle breeze against my face
with the touch of your hand
The fragrance of the rose, so powerful,
that it lifted my senses into an everlasting high
Every song that I hear, touches my soul
like it has never been touched before
And, the taste of bitterness forever gone
with your sweet kiss upon my lips
How is it possible....
Just one person can give back
all the joy in life?
Love is just a word, where there is no love
inside the heart
But, when the heart finds love,
the whole world comes alive
All the senses are heightened to a level
beyond anything ever felt before
All that I see, is because of you
And now,
I will give back to you.....
The beauty of the stars at night
The touch of a summer's gentle
breeze against you face
The fragrant blossom of a rose
The words of a love song
to touch your soul
The taste of a kiss
with sweetness
that will last forever
