I am a wonderful creation too
Let me live my life in peace
So cautious I walk about
Do not hunt me down....please



My family I keep around me
Watching them close
for safety's sake
My world was away from yours
But yet, my life you take



My ceiling is the sky
The earth is my floor
I live in the timberland
You came here to me
I did not come to you
Do you understand



Mile by mile you cut down the trees
And nothing back do you give
My home is getting smaller
Where am I too live



Many years ago
I shared the earth with man
We lived in harmony
Respecting each other
They did not take my home from me



Carried around the earth
with the wind
In the night
hear my haunting cries
Can you see this world.....
through my eyes
