~ALWAYS AND FOREVER~

Earth, rugged and strong is he
Forms the basin to gently embrace
his water flowing
Without her earth, she would run
into misguided directions
Know not, where she is going

Without his water,
the magnitude of his power
would explode
Water, cool and refreshing is she
Tenderly surrounding,
quenching his thirst deep inside his soul
She is there to soothe him
She tries to console

The soft touch of her fingers
against every shore
Each splash whispers to him,
"I love you"
He accepts each drop she so freely offers
A love always and forever true

His arms of strength
lifts her to the sky above
Into the clouds she would disappear
But she cannot stay away
It is with her earth she needs to be near

Water cannot deny her earth anything
He absorbs all she has to give
Earth and water together
All that is beautiful, forever will live

The sun is their laughter
With the wind they are caressed
Throughout eternity always and forever
they will be blessed
