There once was a family of Bunnies

Who were always bright and sunny

All of them knew

They had work to do

But, they'd rather be silly and funny

Easter is comin' soon

You guys better get in tune

Not a word did they say

'Cause they'd rather hop & play

In the garden where flowers bloom



I tell you this, no lie

These eggs you gotta dye

And fill baskets with yummies

To fill up our tummies

Before Easter passes by


But, these bunnies were quite wise

And right before my eyes

Because you see

They were just foolin' me

They were cookin' up a surprise


While they were hoppin' to a song

My assumption was, oh so wrong

I was mistakin'

Colored eggs they were makin'

And workin' all along!!


So, this little story may be a bit profound

But, if you take a look around

Don't get in a tizzy

Because bunnies are very busy

Even when they don't make a sound!!
